New Location for Wind Power
In 2025, Siemens Energy opened a new manufacturing site in Wollsdorf for transformers used in both onshore and offshore wind farms. Together with Wollsdorf Leder and our interdisciplinary planning team, the international group realized a production hall and a head office building.
The production hall consists of 12 bay segments that serve as a production line. In addition to workspaces, the 4-story head office houses a gym, a canteen, a rooftop garden, and meeting areas. The floor plans are designed as flexible open-office spaces. Alongside the greened facade, the building features a hybrid concrete-skeleton and timber construction.
